Finding a product
Type in the «Buscar producto o código…» (Search product or code…) field. The app searches three things at once:
- The product name.
- The company’s code (for example CM0521).
- The barcode on the package.
You don’t need to type the full name or use accents. Two or three letters are enough to filter.
The scanner
Inside the same field, on the right, is the scanner icon. Tap it, point the camera at the barcode and you’re done: the code is typed into the search box for you and the list is filtered.
It’s handy standing in front of the shelf, when the customer shows you a package and you don’t know what it’s called in the system.
If you search for something and it doesn’t show up
The app tells you whether that product is carried but can’t be sold today, and why:
- Agotado (Out of stock) — bring it on your next visit.
- Sin precio (No price) — the office sorts that out. Don’t promise a date.
Don’t tell the customer we don’t carry it without checking that first.
Filters
The button to the right of the search box opens the filter sheet:
- Departamento (Department) and Categoría (Category) — they’re also chips above the list («Todo» (All), «SUPERMERCADO»…).
- Precio (Price) — a range, based on the price you see on the card.
- «Solo con oferta» (On sale only) — leaves only what has a reduced price.
- «Mostrar agotados» (Show out of stock) — off by default. Turn it on if you want to see them anyway.
- Orden (Sort) — how the list is arranged.
When you have more than one price list
If you work with two or more price lists at this company, a button appears between the scanner and the filters. Tapping it opens «Con qué tarifa ves los precios» (Which price list you see prices with).
- By default it’s set to «Todas» (All): the app shows the lowest price across all your price lists, with the word «desde» (from) in front. The catalog doesn’t know which customer you’re visiting, so there’s no single price: the only honest figure is the floor.
- If you pick a price list, the «desde» disappears and you see that price list’s price, plain. The button reminds you which one is selected.
Your choice is saved per company. If you switch companies, that company has its own setting.
The product page
Tap any product in the list to open its page: the photo, the price (struck through if it’s on sale, with the discount percentage), the equivalent in bolívars, the weight, how many units are available and the code — tap it to copy it, so you can read it out to the office over the phone. Further down is «Tus tarifas en esta empresa» (Your price lists at this company), with what it costs on each one.
Sending the product to a customer on WhatsApp
At the top right of the product page is the share button. It builds a message with the name, the code, the price (and its equivalent in bolívars) and whether there’s stock for delivery.
The customer gets a single price: the one you’re seeing at the top of the screen. The list of all your price lists isn’t sent, on purpose. Sending all four shows them the price someone else gets, and that message stays saved on their phone.
«Sin precio» and «Falta bajar la tarifa»
They’re two different things, and they’re fixed differently:
| What it says | What’s happening | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| «Sin precio» (No price) | That product has no price set on any of your price lists. | It’s for the office. Let them know and don’t promise a date. |
| «Falta bajar la tarifa» (Price list not downloaded yet) | This company’s price list hasn’t been downloaded to your phone yet. | Get online for a moment and sync. It fixes itself. |
