Neither a new customer request nor a correction changes the customer on its own. A person at the office reviews it. Don’t promise the customer it’s done: tell them you sent it.
All of this lives in «Mis solicitudes de cliente» (My customer requests), one of the buttons on the Home screen. That’s where the customers you asked to add and the corrections you proposed come together.
Requesting a new customer
The «Cliente nuevo» (New customer) button, at the top of that screen. There are three steps.
- «¿Ya existe este cliente?» (Does this customer already exist?)
Search by RIF (tax ID) or name. It’s required and it comes first: many stores are already in the system under another name, and adding them again creates a duplicate customer. If the one you’re looking for appears, the app tells you what to do with it. If it really isn’t there, tap «Ninguno es: dar de alta uno nuevo» (None of these: add a new one).
- «Datos del cliente» (Customer details)
Document type, RIF or ID number, name, phone, email (required), address and an optional note for the office. The app checks the RIF as you type and warns you if the number doesn’t add up. Then, «Seguir con los recaudos» (Continue to documents).
- «Recaudos» (Documents)
The store’s paperwork. When you have it, «Mandar a la oficina» (Send to the office).
Adding a customer needs signal to START. It’s not a whim: that first search is what prevents the duplicate customer, and it can’t be done without internet.
From then on, everything works without signal: filling in the details, capturing the documents and sending it. If you don’t have signal when you send it, it stays saved and goes out by itself.
The required documents
For each document you have two options:
- «Sacarle una foto» (Take a photo) — the app turns it into a PDF by itself. That’s the usual way: the ID card, the RIF, the articles of incorporation.
- «Cargar un PDF del teléfono» (Upload a PDF from the phone) — the one the customer already sent you on WhatsApp or by email. No need to print it just to photograph it again.
Each line says «Obligatorio» (Required) or «Opcional» (Optional), and once you’ve captured it, it says «Listo» (Done) with the file size.
If you tap «Mandar a la oficina» and one is missing, a notice appears that lists them and gives you two options: «Tomar los que faltan» (Capture the missing ones) or «Mandar igual» (Send anyway). Some stores really don’t have one of those documents. Nothing is sent until you confirm.
Correcting a customer you already have
This does not go through «Cliente nuevo». Open the customer page — from Mis clientes (My customers) or from the route — and tap «Sugerir una corrección» (Suggest a correction).
- Change only what’s wrong. Under each field you see «Hoy dice: …» (Currently says: …), which is what the office has on file today.
- If a field says «No bajamos este dato» (We didn’t download this data), it means your phone doesn’t have it: it doesn’t mean it’s empty.
- You can add «Por qué» (Why) — “moved to the corner,” “changed owners.” It helps the reviewer.
- Finish with «Enviar para que la revisen» (Send for review).
Corrections work fully without signal. If there’s no internet, it stays saved on the phone and goes out by itself.
Where your request can end up
| What the chip says | What it means |
|---|---|
| Por enviar (To send) | It’s on your phone, waiting for signal. It goes out by itself. |
| No se pudo enviar (Couldn’t be sent) | It tried several times and couldn’t. Open it and take a look. |
| Esperando que la revisen (Waiting for review) | It has reached the office. A person still needs to look at it. It doesn’t mean approved. |
| Te la devolvieron (Sent back to you) | You need to correct something. Open it: it says what. |
| Cliente creado (Customer created) / Aprobada (Approved) | Done. The request created the customer; the correction has been applied. |
| Rechazada (Rejected) | It didn’t go through. The reason is inside. |
Tap any card to open it and see what you proposed, the documents you sent and the reason, if there is one.
