Documentation for version 5.3.0

Talking to the office

Every order, every invoice, every collection and every customer has its own conversation with the office. It isn’t a separate chat: it’s attached to the document you’re talking about.

An order’s conversation in Zentrix Sales: an internal note in amber with a padlock, one of your own messages in the purple of the previous design, and at the bottom the composer with the internal note switch and the emoji, mention and attachment buttons.
The internal note is amber with a padlock; your message is in the app’s color: blue since 5.3.0 (in the screenshot, the purple of the previous design).

Where to find it

Look for the «Conversación» (Conversation) button in the details of:

At the top of the conversation there’s always the document number, so you know what you’re talking about.

Heads up

An order or a collection that’s still on your phone has no conversation: it doesn’t exist at the office yet. The button tells you so instead of opening an empty screen. Get online and it goes out by itself.

Message or internal note

At the bottom, to the left of the text field, there’s a switch. These are two different things:

What it isWho sees it
MessageEveryone following the document at the office.
Internal note Only you and anyone you mention. It shows in amber with a padlock.

The amber notes nobody wrote — «Orden de venta creado» (Sales order created) — are added by the system on its own, to keep the document’s history.

Mentioning someone

The @ button opens the list of people you can mention. The person you mention gets an alert, even if it’s an internal note.

That’s what you use when you need someone in particular: don’t just write it and hope whoever passes by reads it.

Sending a photo or a PDF

The paper clip attaches files. You can send a photo taken on the spot or build a PDF by photographing pages.

Don’t get this wrong

A message’s text is saved and goes out by itself when you get a signal. An attachment isn’t. To send a photo or a PDF you need internet at that moment: if there isn’t any, the app tells you and nothing is queued.

If you’re without signal and the attachment matters, send the text now and the photo when you have data.

When someone writes to you

It arrives as an alert on the bell and as a phone notification. Tapping it opens that document’s conversation, not a generic inbox.

And if you already have it open, the new message appears by itself: no need to leave and come back. The screen doesn’t jump while you’re scrolling up to read.

Without signal

The conversation is saved on the phone and you can read it again without internet, stamped with when it was saved. If it was never downloaded, the app tells you — an empty conversation would read as “nobody wrote to you,” and that would be a lie.

What you write without signal stays «Por enviar» (To send) and goes out by itself. Two messages are two messages: resending them doesn’t duplicate them.
