Settings

Tap the gear at the top. Here you test that calls ring and choose how the app feels and looks.

The Settings screen: «Probar una llamada» (Test a call), the «Vibrar al trabajar» (Vibrate while working), «Sonar al trabajar» (Sound while working) and «Alumbrar en la llamada» (Flash on calls) switches, and the theme with Claro (Light) selected («Lo recomendado. Se lee bien hasta a pleno sol.», Recommended. Easy to read even in full sun.), Oscuro (Dark) and Como el teléfono (Match phone).

Test a call

«Suena como la de verdad, para saber si la vas a oír.» (“It rings like a real one, so you know you’ll hear it.”) Settings closes and a call rings with the banner «PRUEBA — no es trabajo de verdad» (TEST — not real work). It doesn’t touch the system and nobody else gets it.

Do it on your first day, with your phone in your pocket, where you’ll carry it. If you don’t hear it, check the sound.

How it feels

  • Vibrar al trabajar (Vibrate while working) — «Un toque si la lectura entró, dos si algo no va.» (“One buzz if the scan went through, two if something’s wrong.”)
  • Sonar al trabajar (Sound while working) — «Un pip si la lectura entró, otro distinto si algo no va.» (“One beep if the scan went through, a different one if something’s wrong.”)
  • Alumbrar en la llamada (Flash on calls) — «El flash parpadea cuando te toca un pedido, por si no lo oyes.» (“The flash blinks when an order is assigned to you, in case you don’t hear it.”) Only on phones with a flash.
Heads up

«La llamada de un pedido suena y vibra aparte: aquí no se apaga.» (“An order call rings and vibrates separately: it can’t be turned off here.”) These switches are for the scanner, not for calls.

How it looks

  • Claro (Light) — «Lo recomendado. Se lee bien hasta a pleno sol.» (“Recommended. Easy to read even in full sun.”) It comes set this way. If you had already chosen another theme, the app keeps it.
  • Oscuro (Dark) — «Gasta menos batería y descansa la vista de noche.» (“Uses less battery and is easier on your eyes at night.”)
  • Como el teléfono (Match phone) — «Sigue el tema que tenga tu Android.» (“Follows your Android theme.”)
  • Pantalla completa (Full screen) — «Esconde las barras del teléfono: cabe más en pantalla.» (“Hides the phone’s bars: more fits on screen.”)

Permissions and location

You see each permission with «Concedido» (“Granted”) or its button. Below, «Tu ubicación en el turno» (Your location during your shift) tells you what was saved in your last heartbeat: your approximate area, never the exact street, and only while your shift is open.

The app

  • Acerca de Zentrix Work (About Zentrix Work): the privacy policy and, outside the real store, which server it points to.
  • Fotos sin gastar datos (Photos without using data): a photo you’ve already seen isn’t downloaded again.

«Lo demás —tiendas, tareas, turno— lo manda el servidor. Si algo está mal, habla con tu encargado.» (“Everything else —stores, tasks, shift— comes from the server. If something is wrong, talk to your manager.”)
