Calls

With your shift on, when there’s work for you, your phone rings, vibrates and opens a screen by itself. You have 60 seconds to decide.

What it looks like

A Zentrix Work call: the basket icon, the title PREPARAR «Pedido nuevo» (PICK · New order), the card with reference ALT/PICK/00014 and the customer, the timer «45 s y pasa al siguiente» (45 s until it moves on), the «Yo lo hago» (I’ll do it) control and the «No puedo» (I can’t) button.
A call to pick an order. At the top, what it is; in the middle, the order; at the bottom, the timer and your two options.

At the top, what you’re being asked to do. Each task has its own verb:

The top saysTo take it, you swipe
PREPARAR · Pedido nuevo (PICK · New order)Yo lo hago (I’ll do it)
ENTREGAR · Cliente esperando (HAND OVER · Customer waiting)Yo lo entrego (I’ll hand it over)
DEVOLUCIÓN · Devolución en la puerta (RETURN · Return at the door)Yo la atiendo (I’ll handle it)
PARADA NUEVA · Un pedido para llevarle al cliente (NEW STOP · An order to take to the customer)Yo la llevo (I’ll take it)

In the middle, the order: its reference and the customer, and for a handover also the pickup code, the packages and the rack. At the bottom, the timer: «45 s y pasa al siguiente» (“45 s until it moves on”). In the last 15 seconds it turns red.

The call comes through even if your phone is locked, and the flash blinks if you’ve turned it on in Settings.

If you take it

  1. Drag the control («Yo lo entrego», «Yo lo hago»…) all the way across.

You swipe it so that a bump in your pocket can’t accept a job you’re not going to do.

  2. Now it’s yours.

The screen says «Es tuya. ¡Dale!» (“It’s yours. Go!”) with the order, how long until the promised time, and what comes next. That time is the same one you see in the list and in the order details.

  3. Tap the button for the job.

Preparar el pedido (Pick the order), Abrir la entrega (Open the handover) or Abrir la parada (Open the stop). It takes you to the screen where you do the work.

The screen after accepting: «Es tuya. ¡Dale!» (It’s yours. Go!), code K-42, «3 bultos» (3 packages), «Rack B2», the text «Lleva los bultos al cliente.» (Take the packages to the customer.) and the «Terminé» (I’m done) button.
After accepting a test call. In a real one, the button that opens the job sits above «Terminé» (I’m done).
The screen stays on

«Tu pantalla no se apaga mientras trabajas. Si guardas el teléfono, la tarea sigue visible en la pantalla de bloqueo.» (“Your screen stays on while you work. If you put your phone away, the task stays visible on the lock screen.”) Only while you have a task: once you finish it, everything goes back to normal. While a task is open, no other call will ring.

If you can’t

  1. Tap «No puedo» (I can’t).

Just one tap. The ringing stops: «Listo, se la pasamos a otro compañero.» (“Done, we’ll pass it to a teammate.”)

  2. If you want, say why.

You may see «¿Por qué no puedes? (opcional)» (“Why can’t you? (optional)”) with reasons to tap. The system sends them based on the type of call: on a picking call you won’t see the delivery ones, like «El cliente no contesta» (The customer isn’t answering) or «Problema con la moto» (Problem with the motorcycle). It’s not required.

  3. Made a mistake?

While there’s time left, tap Me equivoqué, sí puedo (My mistake, I can).

Don’t be afraid to say «No puedo»

Saying «No puedo» gets the work to someone who can do it faster. It’s better than letting the call time out.

If you don’t answer

After 60 seconds the call moves on: «Pasó al siguiente operador.» (“It went to the next operator.”) The screen closes by itself. The order isn’t lost: someone else handles it.

If the main screen says «Hay … llamadas viejas en esta tienda que ya no suenan» (“There are … old calls at this store that no longer ring”), there’s work waiting. Check the list.

The test call

In Settings › Test a call, a call rings exactly like a real one, with the banner «PRUEBA — no es trabajo de verdad» (TEST — not real work). It doesn’t count and nobody else gets it. Do one on your first day.

It worked if…

You took the call and you’re on the job, or you said «No puedo» and the phone went quiet with your shift still on.
