What an asset is
Company property that isn’t merchandise: a laptop, a radio, a tool, a piece of furniture. Each one has a barcode tag. The office prints the tags in Odoo and the warehouse sticks them on. You don’t put tags on anything.
To leave, an asset needs a pass. The office requests the pass and the site manager approves it in Odoo. You don’t approve passes: you see them.
When an asset leaves
- Tap «Registrar» › «Sale» › «Activo» (Register › Out › Asset).
Or tap Escanear (Scan) in Hoy (Today). The frame says «Apunta a la etiqueta del activo» (“Point at the asset tag”).
- Scan the asset tag.
Always the asset’s tag. Scanning only the pass isn’t enough: «Es el pase. Escanea la etiqueta de cada activo.» (“That’s the pass. Scan the tag on each asset.”)
- Read what the screen says.
The title tells you whether it can leave. Follow the table below.

Sale con observación (Out with a remark) opens «¿Quién autorizó?» (“Who authorized it?”): tap the person or Nadie (Nobody), and sign. The record says «Queda como diferencia para el gerente de sede.» (“It is logged as a difference for the site manager.”) The manager has to confirm it in Odoo.
Several assets on one pass
Scan the tag on each one. When you sign one, the app tells you which are still missing: «De este pase faltan: …» (“Still missing from this pass: …”). Tap Escanear (Scan) for the next one.
If the asset has no tag
In the viewfinder, tap Sin etiqueta (No tag).
- If it is going out: «Sin etiqueta. Llama al gerente de sede. Si dice que salga, toca Sale con observación.» (“No tag. Call the site manager. If they say it can leave, tap Out with a remark.”) It is logged as an exit without paperwork with the reason Activo (Asset), and it is recorded as a difference.
- If it is coming in: «No tiene etiqueta. Toca Registrar y tómale una foto.» (“It has no tag. Tap Register and take a photo of it.”)
When it comes back
- Scan its tag.
From Hoy (Today), or in Hoy › Adentro › «Activos de la empresa fuera» (Today › Inside › Company assets out).
- «¿Cómo vuelve?» (“What condition is it in?”)
Bien (Good) is already selected. If it comes back Dañado (Damaged) or Incompleto (Incomplete), tap that and take a photo.
- Tap «Firmar» (Sign) and enter your PIN.
At the end: «Acta firmada» (“Record signed”).
An asset that didn’t come back on time shows up in Adentro (Inside) with «Debía volver …» (“Was due back …”) in amber.
If you see a message
