Before you start
Keys are turned on site by site. If you don’t see the Llave (Key) tile under Registrar (Register), your site doesn’t use them yet.
Every key ring carries a label with a code that the office prints from Odoo. You scan the code; you don’t type it. Typing it by hand doesn’t work: «Escanea el llavero. Escribir el código no sirve.» (“Scan the key ring. Typing the code doesn’t work.”)
Handing out a key
- Tap «Registrar» › «Llave» (Register › Key), or «Escanear» (Scan) on Hoy (Today).
Inside the frame it says «Apunta al llavero» (“Point at the key ring”).
- Scan the key ring’s label.
The key appears with its name.
- «¿Quién la lleva?» (“Who’s taking it?”) Tap their name.
The list comes from Odoo. The people who take that key most often are at the top.
- Sign with your PIN.
At the end: «Salió» (“Left”). The voice says «Llave entregada.» (“Key handed over.”)
If the person isn’t on the list
Tap Otra persona (Someone else). The app says «Llama al supervisor antes de entregarla» (“Call the supervisor before handing it over”). If the supervisor says yes, tap Sale igual (Release anyway) and sign. You don’t type the name: it’s logged as «Otra persona» and the office gets an alert.
Taking a key back
- Scan the key ring.
From Registrar (Register), from Hoy (Today), or under Hoy › Adentro › «Llaves afuera» (Today › Inside › Keys out) by tapping the key and then Escanear (Scan).
- «¿Vienen todas?» (“Are they all here?”)
If the ring holds several keys, count them and tap Sí (Yes) or No. If you tap No, take a photo of the key ring and tap Siguiente (Next).
- Tap «Firmar» (Sign) and enter your PIN.
At the end: «Volvió» (“Returned”). The voice says «Llave devuelta.» (“Key returned.”)
A key ring that comes back incomplete stays marked «Incompleto» (“Incomplete”) until the office sorts it out.
If the key ring has no label
In the viewfinder, tap Sin etiqueta (No label). The app says «El llavero no tiene etiqueta. Llama al supervisor.» (“The key ring has no label. Call the supervisor.”)
To take back a key with no label, find it under Hoy › Adentro › «Llaves afuera» and log it from there with Sin etiqueta. It’s recorded as an unverified return.
If you see a message

Keys out
Under Hoy › Adentro (Today › Inside), «Llaves afuera» (“Keys out”) shows every key that has been handed out, who has it and since what time. If a key has been out for a long time, the time turns amber and reads «hace muchas horas» (“many hours ago”). It’s only a heads-up: you don’t need to do anything in the app.
